DESCRIPTION
A unique combination of PCR products and a number of proprietary plasmids digested with appropriate restriction enzymes to yield 8 discrete fragments, suitable for use as molecular weight standards for agarose gel electrophoresis. The DNA includes fragments ranging from 100-2000 base pairs. The 750 base pair band has increased intensity to serve as reference point. The amount of 750bp is about 100 ng/µl and the amount of the other fragments is about 50 ng/µl for approximating the mass of DNA in comparably intense samples of similar size.

USAGE INFORMATION
The 2kb DNA Marker is dissolved in storage and loading buffer, which is a convenient ready-to-load format, and can be directly applied onto an agarose or non-denaturing polyacrylamide gels.
